natcon 2008
i’m preparing to staff a booth at natcon, the national career development and workforce learning event at the doubletree intl hotel in toronto.
some of the highlights i hope to catch are:
- the training response to business issues – how smes rise to the challenge: a global perspective
- neighbourhood intervention through community collaboration
- get smart using the workplace informal learning matrix to recognize learning
- overcoming barriers to work-related learning: effective, innovative, and promising canadian practices and programs
- learning online: flexible professional development for busy career and hr management specialists
- building successful community business education partnerships
and one of the most interesting sessions that i’m hoping to attend:
- getting serious with elearning: move from page-turners to serious gaming and web 2.0 tools to increase productivity, performance, and knowledge transfer
hopefully i’ll be able to attend a number of these and report back here on the ones i can get to.
